Ryan Crosswell is a Marine Corps veteran and former federal prosecutor running to unseat GOP incumbent Ryan Mackenzie in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District.
In the wake of 9/11, Crosswell joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served as defense counsel. He continues to serve as a lieutenant colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve. After his active duty service, he became a federal prosecutor, most recently serving in the Public Integrity Section of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Crosswell earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he also completed a Master of Arts in History. He holds a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Vanderbilt University.
