Dr. Thomas Fisher is an emergency room physician, author and nationally respected health-policy leader running for Congress in Illinois’ 7th Congressional District.
In 2010, he was selected as a White House Fellow and served in the Obama administration at the Department of Health and Human Services during the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. He helped design and launch a Medicaid health plan serving more than 80,000 people in Cook County, and later, as a venture chair at Redesign Health, helped build companies that will transform healthcare.
