With renewed violence in Gaza and the ongoing chaos of the Trump administration, it’s imperative that J Street stands alongside those who give voice to our values. For that reason, we hope you’ll join us for a reception in support of Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), one of J Street’s strongest Senate champions who embodies our pro-peace and pro-democracy point of view.
When we look to Congress to speak out in defense of these values, Senator Van Hollen is often among the first of his colleagues to stand up and do so. He has had the courage to publicly call out Israeli Ministers Ben-Gvir and Smotrich as they conduct a destructive agenda in the West Bank, and consistently leads fellow senators to join in his efforts.
