Christina Bohannan is running to unseat Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District. In 2024, she came within just 800 votes of victory, the narrowest Democratic House loss in the country, while outperforming the top of the ticket by 8.4 percentage points.
Sarah Trone Garriott is running to unseat Republican Rep. Zach Nunn in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District. She flipped a red seat blue when first elected to the Iowa State Senate in 2020, and she won reelection in 2024 even as Donald Trump carried her district.
Lindsay James is running for Iowa’s open House seat in the state’s 2nd Congressional District. She has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2019 and is bringing her record of public service to this competitive, open-seat race.
Josh Turek is running for Iowa’s open U.S. Senate seat. A two-time Paralympic gold medalist for Team USA, Turek currently serves in the Iowa House, representing the reddest district held by a Democrat in the state.
