A champion for mainstream liberal priorities, Jennifer Wexton flipped her suburban North Virginia district in the 2018 Blue Wave following a campaign focused on mainstream values and kitchen-table issues.
Wexton serves on the Committee on Financial Services and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. She is also a member of the Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus, the New Democrat Coalition and the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus.
Wexton is a proud J Street ally.
In her second term, Wexton led a letter signed by 80 other Members of Congress urging the Biden Administration to take a proactive approach in stopping the deterioration of the conflict.
Addressing attendees of the 2022 J Street Conference, Wexton called on the Biden Administration to speak out in opposition to unilateral Israeli measures in the West Bank which violate international law, human rights and Israel’s own democratic character.
