Lucas Kunce is running to unseat Josh Hawley in the US Senate.
Kunce grew up in a working-class community, living paycheck to paycheck. After graduating from Yale and receiving a law degree from Mizzou, he served 13 years in the Marine Corps. In between tours of Afghanistan and Iraq, Kunce worked with the Joint Chiefs, the National Security Council, and others to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons around the globe. After his last deployment, he became Director of National Security at the American Economic Liberties Project, where he was a leading advocate for antitrust policy.
Kunce’s 2024 campaign focuses on championing policies that prioritize workers' rights, healthcare access, and combating climate change. He is dedicated to restoring government accountability and believes in building an economy that works for all Americans.
Kunce’s position on the US-Israel relationship is rooted in the recognition of the importance of Israel as the Middle East’s only liberal democracy—which is exactly why he has a “strong commitment to a just, democratic, and stable future in which human rights are recognized internationally.”
