Representative Dean is a strong ally of J Street.
In June of 2021, she signed Rep. Raskin’s letter urging Sen. Jim Risch to stop blocking millions of dollars in humanitarian aid for Palestinians. She also signed onto the bicameral Merkley-Stansbury letter calling on the Biden Administration to push back against the proposed demolitions in the West Bank communities of Masafer Yatta and the Price-Lee-Wexton-Castro letter which pushed back against “flashpoints” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including settlement expansion, annexation and incitement to violence against Israelis and Palestinians.
