Manny Rutinel

Manny Rutinel is a Democrat running to unseat GOP incumbent Gabe Evans in Colorado's 8th Congressional District.

Rutinel has served as an attorney for Earthjustice, where he fought for his community against big corporations. Previously, Rutinel worked as an economist for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He also served as a first responder in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria in 2017.

In 2023, Rutinel was appointed to the Colorado House of Representatives, where he currently serves and conducts oversight of ICE detention centers in Colorado.
