Micah Lasher is a New York State Assemblyman running for the open seat in the 12th Congressional District.
Before his election to the State Assembly in 2024, Lasher built experience at every level of government. He served as Director of Policy for the State of New York, Chief of Staff to the New York State Attorney General, and Director of State Legislative Affairs for the City of New York. He also worked as an aide to Congressman Jerry Nadler.
Lasher earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from New York University in 2003.
