Zach Dembo

Zach Dembo is running to represent Kentucky's 6th congressional district.

After working as an English teacher in the Mississippi Delta with Teach for America, Dembo attended the University of Michigan Law School and became an officer in the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Following his Naval service, Dembo continued his life in public service by becoming a federal prosecutor in the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division. His experience earned him recognition by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, who chose him to serve as his legislative director.

Following his time in Governor Beshear’s office, Dembo returned to his role as a federal prosecutor and was elevated to Assistant Attorney General.
