J Street Philadelphia is thrilled to invite JStreetPAC members to our early-cycle fundraiser with J Street ally and 2022 National Conference speaker Madeleine Dean.

Early-cycle support is an important, powerful and deeply appreciated way to show our enduring support for pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy like Rep. Dean, who has become a champion for our values and priorities in Congress since her election to the House in the 2018 “blue wave.”

This will be a great opportunity to learn more about Rep. Dean’s outlook and priorities, the prospects for progress under the new Republican-controlled Congress and how Netanyahu’s new far-right government is impacting congressional dynamics on the Israeli-Palestinian issue.

Rep. Dean has supported many of our priorities in the last Congress. In June of 2021, Dean signed Congressman Jamie Raskin’s letter urging Senator Jim Risch to stop blocking millions of dollars in humanitarian aid for Palestinians. Dean also signed onto the bicameral Merkley-Stansbury letter calling on the Biden Administration to push back against the proposed demolitions in the West Bank village of Masafer Yatta and the Price-Lee-Wexton-Castro letter which pushed back against “flashpoints” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including settlement expansion, annexation and incitement to violence against Israelis and Palestinians.
