JStreetPAC is thrilled to invite our members and friends to the second in a series of events in support of Bob Casey, the senior Senator from Pennsylvania. This event will benefit the Casey Keystone Victory Fund.
Both major parties are focusing on Pennsylvania as the key to the Senate majority, in what’s shaping up to be an incredibly tough year for the pro-democracy movement. Senator Casey’s re-election will be crucial in the endeavor to re-elect President Biden and bolster the pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy coalition in Congress.
Casey, one of our newest Senate endorsees, is committed to lasting peace and security for the
region. In 2021, Senator Casey signed a letter led by Senators Kaine and Murphy,
which urged the Biden Administration to prioritize diplomacy and reenter the JCPOA, an
agreement that he voted for in 2015. He also signed a 2022 letter led by Senator
Merkley and Representative Stansbury which pushed Secretary Blinken to engage with
the Israeli government to prevent evictions in the Palestinian town of Masafer Yatta.
This event will take place in Pittsburgh on Sunday, June 23 at 5:30 PM. We hope to see you there!
