Rep. DeGette served as Chief Deputy Whip in the Democratic Caucus for 14 years and is a senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee. She is a leading voice on health care and environmental issues and was named an impeachment manager for the second impeachment trial of President Trump in 2021. During her tenure in Congress, Rep. DeGette has championed J Street’s values, fighting day in and day out for a lasting regional peace for the Israeli and Palestinian peoples.
