An entrepreneur, healthcare advocate and former Portsmouth City Councilor, Stefany has spent her career helping families access affordable healthcare, supporting veterans and expanding opportunities for working people. As a mom of a daughter with type 1 diabetes, she knows how challenging it can be to fightwith insurance companies to get loved ones the medicine they need.
She was motivated to run for Congress when Donald Trump chose Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to run the Department of Health and Human Services. Among other things, she worries that recent cuts to the National Institutes of Health will put years of medical research at risk.
Stefany is running for the seat being vacated by Congressman Chris Pappas. NH-01 has long been a swing seat, and we can’t afford to lose it if Democrats are going to regain the majority in Congress.
