J Street NYC is thrilled to invite you to a breakfast supporting Congressman Gregory Meeks on Tuesday, September 26 from 8:30 – 10:00 am.
This is our first event in our Connect and Contribute series, a set of fundraisers designed to bolster and support New York members who share our pro-peace, pro-Israel, pro-democracy vision for Israel and the United States.
Our first honoree is Rep. Gregory Meeks (NY-05), Ranking Member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and longtime J Street ally. We want to empower our local endorsees to champion J Street’s priority issues in Congress. J Street has set out an ambitious policy agenda for 2023 and beyond, including: Expanding the Abraham Accords to include the Palestinian people, standing against Netanyahu’s far right judicial reform and supporting the Biden administration’s efforts to oppose creeping annexation in the West Bank.
Events like this are crucial to building the kinds of relationships we need to get things done in Congress. We cannot accomplish this agenda without the support of our endorsees – and they can’t do it without your support.
