J Street NYC is thrilled to invite you to a reception supporting Congressman Paul Tonko on Thursday, November 16 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
This is our second event in our Connect and Contribute series, a set of fundraisers designed to bolster and support New York members. This event is an opportunity for us to be in community and demonstrate support for Congressman Paul Tonko, whose pro-Israel, pro-peace, and pro-democracy leadership is more critical now than ever.
Our honoree, Rep. Paul Tonko (NY-20), has been a J Street champion since our founding. We want to empower our local endorsees to champion J Street’s priority issues in Congress. J Street has set out an ambitious policy agenda for 2023 and beyond, including: Expanding the Abraham Accords to include the Palestinian people, standing against Netanyahu’s far right judicial reform and supporting the Biden administration’s efforts to oppose creeping annexation in the West Bank.
Events like this are crucial to building the kinds of relationships we need to get things done in Congress. We cannot accomplish this agenda without the support of our endorsees – and they can’t do it without your support.
