In the 2024 cycle, JStreetPAC distributed nearly $15 million to its endorsed candidates, our highest ever disbursement in an election cycle. The J Street Action Fund, our independent expenditure arm, reached more than 1,000,000 voters with pro-choice mobilization ads, expending $225,000 in two of the country’s most competitive Congressional districts.
116 out of 122 JStreetPAC endorsed incumbents won re-election—a 95% win rate. 100% of JStreetPAC endorsed candidates running for open seats won their elections. Freshmen Members of Congress bolstered by JStreetPAC’s support include Senators Andy Kim (NJ) and Angela Alsobrooks (MD) as well as Reps. Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08), Derek Tran (CA-45) and Lateefah ̨Simon (CA-12). Over 70% of JStreetPAC endorsed incumbents in the Senate won their general elections.
J Street-organized polling shows that Jewish Americans support democrats, diplomacy and democracy. Kamala Harris won the Jewish vote 71 to 26 percent, maintaining decades of super-majority support in the Jewish community for Democratic candidates for President and Congress. The tens of millions of dollars spent by Republicans seeking to define Harris as weak on Israel and antisemitism clearly failed.
Jewish voters resoundingly reject the anti-democratic, extremist agendas of Prime Minister Netanyahu and Donald Trump. 63% of Jewish voters have an unfavorable view of Netanyahu, while 71% have an unfavorable view of both Donald Trump and the Republican party as a whole. As has been the case for over a decade, Israel was not among the top 3 voting issues for Jewish voters. The future of democracy and abortion rights were the top concerns among Jewish voters when asked to identify the two issues most important in determining their vote.
