Elected in 2024, Rep. Friedman represents Burbank, Glendale, West Hollywood, and parts of Los Angeles and Pasadena. An ally for J Street’s values, she recently signed the Dingell–Schrier letter urging the U.S. to reinstate medical visas for Gazans in need of life-saving care in the U.S.
Previously, she served in the California State Assembly, where she championed the environment, housing, and transportation, and was a leader in the California Legislative Jewish Caucus. She also served as Mayor of Glendale and on the Glendale City Council.
As a newly elected Member of Congress succeeding Adam Schiff, it’s important that we show early on that standing up for our values is not only good policy, but also good politics. Early support from our community will strengthen her voice and encourage her to be a strong, consistent champion on our issues for years to come.
