Senator Casey serves as Chairman of the Committee on Aging, and also serves on key committees such as the Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, and the Committee on Finance.
Senator Casey and J Street share a commitment to lasting peace and security for the region. In 2021, Senator Casey signed a letter led by Senators Kaine and Murphy, which urged the Biden Administration to prioritize diplomacy and reenter the JCPOA, an agreement that he voted for in 2015. He also signed a 2022 letter led by Senator Merkley and Representative Stansbury which pushed Secretary Blinken to engage with the Israeli government to prevent evictions in the Palestinian town of Masafer Yatta.
