John Larson has represented Connecticut's 1st District in the House of Representatives since 1998, where he has shown himself to be a champion for his constituents.
Prior to his tenure in Congress, Representative Larson worked as a teacher in East Hartford, additionally serving on the East Hartford Board of Education and the East Hartford Town Council. In 1982, Larson was elected to the Connecticut State Senate, where he served for 12 years, including 8 years as the President Pro Tempore. During his time in Congress, he has been strongly in line with J Street's pro-peace, pro-democracy mission. We are proud to support Rep. Larson.
