J Street’s Chicago Chapter is excited to invite JStreetPAC members and friends to the third in a series of events in support of pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy champions in our own backyard.
Our third event will be in support of rising star Nikki Budzinski. Prior to her election, Rep. Budzinski spent her professional career working in labor politics, initially serving as national political director for United Food and Commercial Workers union. She was later named a senior advisor to Governor JB Pritzker, during which time she helped lead the successful campaign to raise the state’s minimum wage to $15/hour. Budzinski was then named chief of staff for President Biden’s Office of Management and Budget, where she helped implement the American Rescue Plan to boost the economy following the pandemic.
Early support is deeply appreciated as campaigns work to engage with voters, fend off potential primary challengers, and fortify their teams for the general election — early investments stretch our contributions further. Don’t miss out on your chance to join us for this special event!
