JStreetPAC is thrilled to invite you to our virtual event featuring our Ohio endorsees: Sen. Sherrod Brown, Rep. Marcy Kaptur, Rep. Emilia Sykes and Brian Poindexter.
Working-class champion and former senator Sherrod Brown is on his comeback tour to defeat GOP incumbent Senator Jon Husted. Senator Brown has long been a J Street champion and is strongly aligned with our pro-peace values. We’re excited to send him back to the Senate!
Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur proudly represents the working people of Ohio’s Ninth Congressional District. She is currently the longest serving woman in the history of Congress. As always, Congresswoman Kaptur is in a close race in her swing district and we are looking forward to seeing her win again.
Congresswoman Emilia Sykes has represented Ohio’s 13th Congressional District for two terms and is committed to fighting for economic opportunity, safer communities and affordable healthcare for Northeast Ohioans. Prior to entering Congress, Congresswoman Sykes served in the Ohio State House for eight years, including three years as the House Minority Leader.
Brook Park City Councilor and union leader Brian Poindexter is running to unseat scandal-plagued MAGA Congressman Max Miller in Ohio’s Seventh Congressional District. As an apprenticeship instructor with Ironworkers Local 17, Brian has had the opportunity to pass along both the trade that gave his family stability and the lessons he’s learned along the way.
We’re proud to support these outstanding Members of Congress and candidates as we work to change the balance of Congress. We hope you’ll join us!
