Bill Keating has represented Cape Cod and South Shore in the House since 2011.
Keating was elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1977, and then to the state Senate in 1985. He then served as Norfolk County’s district attorney from 1997 until his election to Congress.
Keating serves on the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Armed Services Committee.
Representative Keating is a close ally of J Street. He has been a consistent supporter of fully funding US security aid to Israel as outlined in President Obama’s 10-year Memorandum of Understanding. He was a supporter of President Obama's Iran deal, which verifiably blocked Iran's path to nuclear weapons, and has advocated for a return to mutual compliance with the deal.
