Brendan Gill is an at-large member of the Essex County Board of Commissioners running for New Jersey's 11th Congressional District.
Gill has served as senior advisor to Senators Cory Booker and Frank Lautenberg, and Representatives Bill Pascrell and Steve Rothman. In 2011, Gill was elected to the 5th district seat on the Essex County Board of Freeholders, and moved into an at-large seat in 2014; he’s been re-elected to the board three times since then.
Born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey, Gill graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
