Senator Jack Reed, the dean of the Rhode Island Congressional Delegation, has represented the state in the Senate since first being elected in 1996.
Sen. Reed has been a strong voice for J Street values throughout his tenure, parlaying his deep understanding of defense policy, his position as Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and his experiences from his military service to advocate for a safe and secure future for Israelis and Palestinians alike. He has signed onto numerous J Street-supported letters and pieces of legislation including letters in support of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and The United States Military Academy.
