Debbie Dingell has represented Ann Arbor and much of Washtenaw County since 2015, after taking over the seat from her late husband, Congressman John Dingell.
A champion of mainstream liberal causes, Dingell prides herself on being an effective fighter for blue-collar, working-class priorities.
Dingell sits on the Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Committee on Natural Resources. She is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus, the Blue Collar Caucus and the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
Dingell is a J Street ally.
She is a vocal advocate for a two-state solution and opposes actions by all sides that undermine that goal, from terrorism and incitement to settlement expansion, demolitions and annexation. Rep. Dingell co-sponsored H.Res. 326, reaffirming congressional commitment to the two-state solution and opposition to settlement expansion and annexation.
