A leader of the House Progressive Congressional Caucus, Ro Khanna has represented his Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area district since 2016.
Khanna has made a name for himself as an outspoken proponent of progressive policies, campaign finance reform and improved tech innovation in government. He founded the House Antitrust Caucus and serves on the Oversight, Agriculture and Armed Services Committees.
Khanna was a driving force behind the 2022 CHIPS and Science Act. He continues to champion bold progressive policies, including the Green New Deal, Medicare for All and College For All.
Rep. Khanna is a leading advocate for consistent, comprehensive, progressive foreign policy. He has been engaged in efforts to tackle antisemitism in Poland and Ukraine, limit presidential authority to launch a war with Iran, and end US support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen.
A strong ally of J Street, Khanna supports America playing a leading role in ensuring Israel’s security, defending Palestinian rights, and securing a two-state solution. He was openly critical of President Trump’s pro-annexation “peace” plan and was an early cosponsor of HR.326, reaffirming congressional commitment to a two-state solution and opposition to settlement expansion and annexation.
Khanna has expressed continued, consistent support for diplomatic engagement with Iran in order to block its path to a nuclear weapon and avoid a potentially catastrophic war of choice.
