Following his election in 2024, Dave Min represents California's 47th Congressional District in the House of Representatives. Min previously served as a State Senator taught Law at UC Irvine as well as acting as a legislative staffer to Senator Chuck Schumer and as a policy director at the Center for American Progress.
He's committed to continuing aid to Israel and he understands that Israel’s long-term security depends on the achievement of a permanent two-state solution. He's has pledged to support diplomatic efforts toward such an agreement in Congress and has showed leadership early in his first term by signing a letter urging President Trump to retract inflammatory statements on Gaza.
Min attended the University of Pennsylvania, receiving degrees in Philosophy and Economics, additionally receiving his J.D. from Harvard Law School. In addition to the Middle East, his legislative priorities include reproductive rights, gun violence prevention, securing equitable housing, and taking climate action.
