Proud progressive Mike Levin represents a stretch of the California coast from Orange County to the San Diego suburbs. He flipped the formerly Republican seat during the 2018 blue wave.
Prior to Congress, Rep. Levin spent his career as an environmental lawyer and founded CleanTechOC, a clean energy trade association. He also served on the National Finance Committee for Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign for President.
Rep. Levin is a member of the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, where he previously served as the chair of the Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity. He is also a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
Rep. Levin was a signer of a June 2021 letter calling on the US government to lift the Trump administration’s hold on Palestinian aid. Amid hostilities between Israelis and Palestinians, he signed a May 2021 letter calling for an immediate ceasefire in the conflict.
