JStreetPAC is proud to make our first challenger endorsements of the 2026 cycle: Christina Bohannan (IA-01) and Rebecca Cooke (WI-03)—two powerhouse candidates running in toss-up districts. 

In 2024, both came incredibly close to flipping their seats. Bohannan lost by just 799 votes—the narrowest Democratic loss in the country—and overperformed the top of the ticket by 8 points. Cooke lost by only 2 points and overperformed by 7. In a more favorable year for Democrats, these two seats will be crucial to rebuilding the House majority.

Both women bring deep local roots, broad appeal, and a proven commitment to J Street’s pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy values. These are must-win races to take back the House, and both candidates have the momentum to finish what they started.
