  • Kirsten Engel surprised pundits in 2020 by coming within 1.5% of AIPAC-backed Juan Ciscomani in Arizona’s 6th district. Now, the environmental lawyer is headed for a rematch. • Mondaire Jones was raised in Section 8 housing by a single mother. A progressive rising star after his 2020 election, Jones lost his seat in the messy New York 2022 redistricting saga. • Derek Tran is the son of Vietnamese refugees, grounding his commitment to compassionate, working-class, values-driven leadership. • Tony Vargas is an overwhelmingly popular state legislator who narrowly lost the race for Nebraska’s 2nd district last cycle by just 6,000 votes.
